Theme for January 2020: Purposeful, intentional 40-day Prayer Challenge

Join us as we read Draw the Circle by Mark Batterson, and commit to daily prayer and journaling. Let's seek God's direction for a new decade.

Gratiot County Hope House

is a new ministry created "to meet the temporary housing needs of Gratiot County with compassion, hope, and grace." Right now, they are focusing on being a crisis cold weather shelter program to address homelessness in our community from November through the first of April. The shelter provides a warm place for someone to sleep, as well as a hot meal, for up to 30 days. The shelter is currently located at the St. Louis Church of the Nazarene and has a maximum capacity of 20 guests.

Volunteers are needed during the winter months, and our church will "adopt" two separate weeks this season, covering all volunteer needs. Join us!

AVC covered the week of November 17-23 and will take another week later in the season. Please make every effort to be available for several shifts, and please consider volunteering here on a regular basis.
