We don’t know what the future holds, but we do know who holds our future … in his hands!
Those same hands that hold ours as we tiptoe into the unknown;
hands that steady us as we step out of our “boats” in risky faith;
hands that surround us like a wrap-around-shield in danger;
hands that become our cleft in the rock away from the storm winds of adversity;
hands that twirl us in the dance of joy and celebration;
hands that cup our ears and whisper “You can do this!”;
hands that anchor our hearts in times of uncertainty;
hands that gently wipe away our tears of sorrow and pain;
hands that demonstrated His unwavering love for us …
Those nail-scarred hands that carry us close to His heart.
He is for us and not against us.
He is Emmanuel, God with us in every and all situations.
He is our peace, our joy, our righteousness, our hiding place …
He is our all in all for all.
Hands that sculpted the mountains and measured off the heavens, so longs to hold your heart, your hands, your all.
Friends, let’s purpose to get to know Him better this day, this week, this month, this year ... so that we can make Him known more clearly to the thirsty and hungry around us.
After all, we can’t give away what we don’t have!
